The Titans were in the playoffs. We had no plans. It was the last day of Hamilton in Nashville. June had a playdate. So - we loaded up - and your brother and Dad "worked" the street to the see if anyone had an extra ticket to sell. It worked!
We bought a ticket, orchestra level for you. At the least, I was going to let you go and I would sit in the lobby. I asked the will call desk if any one had turned in tickets that I could buy - and they said "No, we can't resell, and could go only give one out in an emergency." What's a broadway emergency?
So we were chatting in the lobby - and then a TPAC employee came over and asked if we just needed one ticket. I said yes - and he said someone had just turned one in, only few rows behind you - and we could have it! Awesome!
The cast was great, and it was so wonderful to see it again!
