Last Day of Kindergarten

Oh goodness - check out the difference in your jumpers. They started knee length and ended almost thigh length. You've got a short half day, a picnic on the lawn, and then get to spend the afternoon with one of your besties- Louise. Happy last day of Kindergarten!

Treehouse

The last few days - now that it's summer - we've fallen into a little routine - eat dinner, then head outside, and if Catherine (Cat) from next door is available - ya'll go play basketball at her place or she comes over and she plays tags, swings, or makes up games with you all. It's been great.

A couple nights ago I suggested that we get Daddy to build a treehouse in the tree over our garage. After a quick shower, you immediately started designing it. Here are the plans so far -

Note: There's a note at the bottom - "cut hostas" - guess you want those plants removed.

You also wrote this hilarious letter to Cat -
Is it okay if my Dad makes a ladder that turns into a slide that goes into your yard?

Cat said it was fine last night...but then ya'll started coming up with other ideas.

I can't wait to see this plan come together. :)

Field Day

Sounds like you had a great Field Day - Daddy stopped by for a little and saw you doing some burpees - nice!

Note: You still refused to wear a shirt and shorts. Skort and dress like shirt were worn instead.

You did claim to beat Brynn in tug-o-war. :)
