Fall Break - Cincinatti

Things started off earlier - the Thursday before my getting rush tickets to see a farce play. We all laughed a lot. We still need to work on sitting through the whole play - you wanted to leave half way through again.

 Then on Saturday - you went with daphne and Ainsley downtown to Dick's Last Resort (your request) and to play laser tag. This the hat they gave Carter...

Since Mommy had to go out town earlier in the week for Great-Grandpa's funeral - you headed to Memphis to hang with the Taylors for a couple days.

I came home Wednesday night and we left Thursday morning - to Cincinnati for fall break.

Thurs- Wolf Creek lodge, indoor water park
Fri- Wolf Creek lodge -wand scavenger hunt, then the Wielands - trunk or treat
Sat - Am Sign Museum, Findlay Market- you broke out your shell and tried cookies n cream fudge, then Smale Riverfront park
Sun- It was cold. Stopped by a local place for lunch, then headed home.

You love playing with the Wieland twins. :)

4th grade so far

Shocker -you got picked to be in LIT - the book club for your 4th grade club. Ya'll are planning a community event to discuss and celebrate Wishtree. 

You got your hair trimmed last weekend, with specific instructions to not cut any length. 

 You complained and didn't want to go the Touch a truck event, but guess what - you were first person on the helicopter and you had fun acting like June was scooping you up in the digger.

You also had fun at the Jane Mount signing. You did not listen to her at all- instead had fun looking at all the books at Parnassas and got excited when you heard that Kate DiCamillo was coming for a signing soon.

The face of girl that made a cake, then we tried to get June to stick her face in it. She did not, but she was super excited to eat your cake.
