Family Vacation

Last week we took our first official family vacation. Or at least, that's what I'm calling it. It was a week long; so long that I think you started to think Florida was your new home.

You were great, as usual, and I know all your family (grandparents, aunts, potential future uncles, great-uncle, and cousins) loved spending time with you.

Here's a re-cap of the week-

Saturday- Pool time with Daddy (Mommy was grocery shopping for the week)
Sunday- More pool time; Grandpa's Birthday cookout (You spent the rest of week pointing to the picnic tables and singing "Happy Birthday Grandpa". You also claimed while helping Grandma shuck the corn on the cob that "It was too hard!")
Monday- Day with Grandpa and Grandma (bike ride and pool time); sleep over at Grandma's
Tuesday- Pool day, bike ride with Mommy and Daddy (You loved going over all the bumps along the road. And, you had fun playing with Syndey in the hot tub.)
Wednesday- Morning with Mommy at the pool; Afternoon with Grandpa and Grandma
Thursday- Day with Daddy and Grandpa, pool and paddleboat ride...oh and this is the day that Daddy swears you went down the big tube slide over 10 times by yourself!
Friday- Pool day with pictures in the afternoon
Saturday- Check out day; hung out at Downtown Disney. You got to play at the Lego Store, the toy store with Mr. Potato Head, rode the carousel twice, the train once, and played with sprinklers. Oh and we spent 4 hours at the airport! You spent lots of time riding the moving walkway and playing with the line thingy. (See pictures below.)

Although you did not go to Disney World, Grandma did get you small Mickey Mouse stuffed animal. We taught you who it was, but continued to call it Nicky Mouse for most of the week. And one morning you woke up and told me it was a kitty cat. (It does have big ears.) As of today, I think you know it's Mickey Mouse, but I'm not quite sure you know what his deal is. (Me, either.)

Oh and we did attempt to watch Finding Nemo one or two times with you while it was either raining or we were making dinner. You sufficiently lasted about 15-20 minutes, and spent the majority of the time asking "Where's Nemo? Where did Nemo go?"
