Maev,Month 2 was a blur as well. You gave us your first smile while awake, and your umbilical cord fell off just a couple of days later. With that out of the way, we we were able to give your first bath. You really liked the bath, the waterfall from the cup Daddy took from Uncle Nate's house one night after of hanging out. Anyways, we did your first trip to Memphis for Easter, where we stayed with your Mother's parents. Here's a picture from that Sunday, right outside the front door:
Daddy was back at work right after you were born, but Mommy was able to stay home with you until half-way through the 2nd month. As hard as it was, Mommy and Daddy decided that to be able to provide for you in the manner in which we intend, she would have to go back to work and because of that, you had a first day of daycare in this month. And you did wonderful. Everybody there loved you and the amazing amount of hair you had. And how happy and genteel you are. I'm pretty sure that's because you have Daddy's "awesome gene". Niice.
We went to a festival later that month, and did some walking around in the beautiful sunshine. There's evidence of this in a picture of you & Daddy doing a hula-hoop from that day. You did not help in keeping the hoop on the hips, but it was a good time trying.
All in all, it was a good month!
